Team development
A financial service provider restructures a 60-man department. Process One accompanies the introductory process.
The department has had to be restructured due to mergers, business field expansion and increasing internationalisation. Corresponding concepts are developed within the company, involving the staff affected. Process One supports the company staff development officer in introducing the new structures with a kick-off event followed by workshops.
The eleven executives in the department take part in the kick-off event, the main aim of which is to strengthen their mutual trust and make them more open to one another. Various team exercises create a framework and an initial basis for working together on an interpersonal level. The kick-off also gives them an opportunity to acknowledge past achievements and to gear up for future challenges.
In a second step, the executives are offered workshops with their respective teams. Five of the seven team leaders take up this offer. In the lead-up to the workshops, the participants are asked to assess themselves using a questionnaire. The questionnaire results, sticking points and feelings within the team are later reflected upon at the workshops. Various team exercises again help to strengthen bonds. What is more, the participants work on fine-tuning the new structures, evaluate their previous successes and develop measures for further improvement.
There is very positive feedback on the project from all those involved. The process receives the additional support of the company staff development officer.
